Our World Book day visit to St Oswald's

Thank you St Oswald's!

A huge thank you to our friends at St Oswald's for inviting us to their World Book Day activities. The Staff and young people at the school made us very welcome and led us through some very interesting activities related to Roald Dahl's book 'The Witches.' We learned about the importance of good hygiene when working with food and made witches fingers biscuits! We also decorated a witches cake with sugar mice. It was a great morning which we all enjoyed very much.

The visit also gave our young people a chance to sample life in a High School environment and this will stand them in good stead in the future. It was a very worthwhile and enjoyable visit.
