Our Kirkriggs Experience So Far

By Room 3

We have been practising our fine motor skills in class.

We have used screws and keys.

We have used different materials to practise threading.

We use our communication boards to ask for our snack. We like to try different foods.

We are learning our sounds. We can use our crayons to colour in and write our sounds.

We are practising our skills using an iPad. We can play games while we are learning!

We use playdoh to make snakes and ants. This helps us to learn our sounds.

Jack has used playdoh to make his 'a' sound. He has also circled all of the 'a' words. Well done Jack!

We had fun playing outside in the playground. We were prepared for the rain!

We all had a go on the slide.

Rayyan tested out the bike and car.

Maye loved jumping in the muddy puddles!

Jack enjoyed exploring in the sand.

We had a go at writing our 'a' sound on the big board.

We all went to Linn Park Adventure Playground on Wednesday.

Lexi loved playing in the sand.

Rayyan explored outside.

Maye and Jack went on the roundabout. It was great fun!

Rayyan and Maye had a go at climbing up high!

Maye looked at the flowers and the fairy houses. The fairies were all sleeping!

We baked cupcakes and decorated them with red icing and sprinkles.

MMMMMMMMM! Delicious!

On Tuesday we had a fantastic trip to Blair Drummond Safari Park!

We saw alpacas, goats and llamas at the farm area.

We went to the sea lion show.  She did lots of tricks. She even jumped off of this big platform!

After the show we watched the sea lions having fun and swimming outside.

We saw giraffe's eating from big tall trees.

We watched the penguins jumping in the water and splashing!

Before we went back to school we searched for the tiger.

He was hiding in the long grass!

We have loved our first few weeks back at Kirkriggs school!
