The children of Class 9 had another opportunity to learn in the very real working environment of B&M's Store in Castlemilk and they absolutely loved it. The staff there are first class and always so patient and kind with the children.
The boys did a variety of jobs in the store to get some real life experience of what a job is like. These placements are very valuable to our children as they learn a lot about how skills and knowledge they learn in school can be applied in the world outside the classroom.
Liam is working at the checkout
James is learning about the machine which crushes cardboard for recycling
Liam was also a first class greeter at the door!
James worked very well on the till and listened & learned
All of this card has to be recycled!
James pushes the button on the Baler to crush the card
Harris was opening boxes and stacking shelves
It's hard work but a job worth doing is worth doing well!
