Room 9 were learning about sharing and dividing in class today. They had to figure out how to share out lots of characters and cubes so that each set was the same.
Sean very quickly grasped what was going on!
Mark used little figures to help him learn. He said 'It was interesting and I learned to share them out.'
Mark was dividing by six.
Sean said, 'It was good. I did some dividing before and I remembered it. It helped me.'
Jamie said, 'I liked using the little figures but we had to use bigger sheets when the sums got higher.'
