Room 5 have been discovering more about the Earth. We discovered that the Earth is made up of layers - Crust, Mantle, Outer Core and Inner Core. We made models of the Earth out of clay.
We used this to help us understand all about Volcanoes. Here we are doing our volcano experiments.
Volcanoes are formed deep down inside the Earth. There is magma, lots of gases and it is very hot. Pressure builds up and it has to escape. This is when you get a volcano!
