Making a Falcon paper aeroplane

The children in Room 8 are fast becoming great engineers with making fidget spinners last week and now Falcon  paper aeroplanes!

They carefully followed all the cutting and folding instructions.

When everyone had completed their earoplanes, they went outside to test them and see which one could fly the farthest in the strong wind.

They measured the distance using a metre stick and used chalk to mark where they had landed.

Jacob's aeroplane flew the farthest from the Starting line:
9 metres!
 Well done to everyone.
It was a gusty wind day and difficult to fly your planes.

We have had great fun during our STEM activities this term!
