Assembly - Room 3 and Friends

This week Room 3 sang '5 Speckled Frogs' at assembly. We needed some volunteers from the rest of the school to help us! 

Tiano showed them what to do...

We started with 5 speckled frogs.

Oh no! 3 frogs have jumped into the pool...we only have 2 speckled frogs left...

Tiano jumped into the pool as well! Ondrej is the only frog left. 

Ondrej has jumped into the pool as well.

There are no more speckled frogs on the speckled log!

Learning the guitar

Dejna has been learning the guitar with Richard.

First Dejna practised on an electronic toy guitar.

Then she used a real guitar!  Dejna is doing great at strumming!

Room 3 - Cooking

Toast and Chocolate Bears

Jack and Tiano spread the chocolate on their toast.

Then they cut the banana and put it on the toast to make ears and a snout.

They added raisins for the eyes and nose.

Finally they got to eat the delicious toast and chocolate bear!

 

 

Room 7 visit the Queensferry Crossing 11.9.17

On Monday, we went to the Queensferry Crossing. We have been learning about it in class. We looked at the Queensferry Crossing, we have drawn pictures of the bridge, during technology we built our own Queensferry crossings and we wrote about it.
We visited the bridge near Edinburgh and we were able to drive across it twice. We had a smashing time.

M and D's Room 3

Room 3 had great fun at M and D's!

We drove in cars and flew in aeroplanes!

We went on flying elephants!

We all loved flying and spinning in the hot air balloons.

Dejna is thrilled to be flying a plane!

Tiano and Jack braved the scary caterpillar rollercoaster!

Dejna loved being up high in the big wheel.

Miss Glasgow and Tiano ended the day soaking wet after the log flume!

We all had a fantastic day out!

Horse Riding

Dejna, Jack, Michael, Saeed and John went horse riding this week.

Dejna is ready to meet her horse.

John and Michael are having fun waiting to get their helmets fitted.

Dejna is excited to be on her horse. She is going all the way round the hall.

Michael loves his horse Apache.

Saeed is enjoying his lesson.

 John has stopped his horse to pose for a photo!

 Jack is enjoying riding all the way round the hall.

The children had to match a card to the pictures around the room. They were excellent!

Lots of learning in Room 5

Room 5 have had a busy time back at school.


We have been learning all about what goes inside a First Aid Box with help from Mrs Russell....

A sore eye!
